Hope everyone is having a great autumn!
Things are both slowing down and speeding up around here. We're rushing to get ready for this baby, I'm trying to get to as many (much appreciated) custom orders as I can before the little guy arrives, and at the same time, my energy level is dropping fast. Of course, the "swine flu" is on our minds big time, since no vaccines seem to be available in our area, and both Sophie and I are in the high risk group. We have stocked up on hand sanitizer, soap and are doing our best to avoid crowds. Not much fun to live in a bubble, but I'd rather do that than get this bug.
I will be posting a few new dogs to the shop over the next few weeks, so there should be a decent supply leading up to Christmas. I've also signed on with a couple of shops--one in Kansas and one out in LA--to sell Original Sock Dogs, so I've been sewing a lot! I've also been asked to design the new volunteer/staff t-shirt for the Humane Society of Greater Kansas City--what an honor! I'm posting the rough sketches below--maybe you guys can help me choose one. (No doubt some of the illustrations will look familiar to you!) The fonts are super rough--my typographer hubby will be helping me set the final ones. Again, these are just quick sketches and would be refined and embellished.
Design B (front and back)
Design D (circles would be squares in final design)
